Happy Autumn!

The first day of fall is here. The autumnal equinox 2011 occurred today at around 5 am, signaling the start of the autumn season.  It just happens to be my favorite season too.

The autumnal equinox is a time when the day and night are nearly equal.  There is a wealth of information on

It's wonderful to hear from you! How are you? did you know I was thinking *just now* about you???
What with the cooler temps, I've started inhaling bowls of oatmeal for breakfast again (hang on, I'm getting to the point...), and now every time I see or think of oatmeal, I think of you! (Still getting to the point....) See, ages ago, you recommended I make oatmeal pie from Patty Pinner's Sweety Pies cookbook.
I don't think I ever told you that I a) picked up the cookbook and b) have made oatmeal pie several times, and c) think oatmeal pie is amazing! I wish I could say family and friends think oatmeal pie is amazing, too, but the problem is that I've yet to get around to sharing any of the pie. I know I know, sharing is the right thing to do! I'll work on it.

Your daughter is 13 already?? *blink blink* Nope, not feeling old at all. Not at all. *grin*

So nice to hear from you too! I am well and hope you are too.

I LOVE that Sweety Pies cookbook. I love cookbooks that tell stories with recipes thrown in. How sweet that you think of me with oatmeal! LOL! I think of you with fritos :)

I'm going to get email updates of your blog so I can keep up with all your fun stuff better. I've had a bit of a lax period on mine but hopefully will spend more time updating now.

Enjoy your day! Lovely fall weather here.

You're so kind to want email updates! Arigato!

Sorry to bother you with this (and maybe no need to post this particular comment), but did you want to get daily email updates of my little blog itself? or just updates of the comments to the post you commented on, which, I think, is what you signed up for?
For the blog itself, look on the left side just above site meter, and you should see something to subscribe to the blog.

In the meantime, back I go to catching up on your beautiful blog! You have so much!
